This winter look for new animals at the Aquarium including the common octopus in the Tentacles and Ink exhibit in the Tropical Pacific Gallery. This animal is a master of camouflage that can change its color and texture in an instant making it a fun game to try to spot it.
On February 22 and 23 the Aquarium will host our annual African-American Festival featuring live music and dance performances, plus interactive drum circles and storytelling.
There are additional community events and cultural festivals on the calendar including Noche de Estrellas on March 21, International Children’s Festival on March 29 and 30, and Earth Day Teen Climate Fest on April 26.
Plus, free Shark Lagoon Nights have returned this year with upcoming events on March 7 and April 4. This is a great way to visit with friends and connect with the sharks, rays, and other animals.
Before your next visit, get a glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes through our podcast. This third season of Aquarium of the Podcific includes fascinating discussion with the director of veterinary services and an insight into the creative production of the our photography and films.
